Find your people
Sunday is the center. The rest of the week is where the friendships happen: big questions over a pint, young adults who actually show up for each other, kids who love coming to church.
Big questions. Good company.
Pub(lic) Theology
About once a month, Rev. Ben leads a conversation about faith and the big questions, in a bar or a café, not a church basement. No background needed; bring a friend who’d never come to church.
Thursdays, 7–8:30 PM at Beer Street South, 550 Vanderbilt Ave
Saturdays, 10–11:30 AM at Mille-Feuille, 622 Vanderbilt Ave
The 2026–27 season
Kids & youth
Sunday School & Youth Corp
Sunday School for kindergarten through 6th grade every Sunday at 10, and Youth Corp for grades 6–12 on Sunday evenings, both led by Chelsy DeHart, the Diocese of Long Island’s director of youth ministry.
Young adults
Adult(ish)
Our young adult group, for young adults and the young at heart: pizza nights, ball games, breweries, service projects, spontaneous hangs, and people who become real friends.
Sing
The Choir
Jazz pianist Sterling Cozza leads volunteers and professional singers in hymns, spirituals, gospel, jazz and contemporary worship. Read music or learn by ear; if you can carry a tune, there’s room for you.
After Sunday worship
Classes
Short series after the 10 AM service, like this fall’s “What Is Theology?”: the Bible, theology and the spiritual life, from whole books of scripture to Rowan Williams, Fleming Rutledge and James Baldwin. Missed one? The audio is on the podcast.
For parents
Families with Littles
Parents of babies and young children, getting together through the year for outings, play and the kind of company that makes the early years easier.
Now and then
Hikes, cookouts & serving
Every so often: a day hike outside the city, a summer cookout on the church patio, a Saturday serving with neighbors at CHiPS. Watch the newsletter for the next one.
